Yes, We are open for business!
Black Diamond Aviation is open for business and we still delivering on our promise to get you to your destination safely!
We are committed to your safety first, and this commitment continues throughout this time when the world is dealing with all stages of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic.
Whilst this situation is outside of our control, we are doing everything we can to support and protect our clients, staff and the communities and homelands we service.
The biosecurity area restrictions in the Northern Territory (NT) were lifted on 5 June 2020, and there is no longer any requirement to quarantine for 14 days before entering a remote community.
Northern Territory residents can move freely within the Northern Territory, which includes travel to all Northern Territorian communities, homelands, country and towns.
Interstate arrivals into the Northern Territory are only allowed into the Northern Territory if you have not come from a COVID-19 hotspot. It is your responsibility to keep up to date with declared hotspots.
You will have to quarantine if you have been in a declared COVID-19 hotspot in the 14 days before you arrive in the Northern Territory.
It is important however, as we enter a "new normal" way of travelling, that all of our passengers maintain good physical distancing and hygiene practices to protect against spreading the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
To ensure we are all doing everything we can to minimise the risk of COVID-19 to our operations, we have implemented an approved SAFETY PLAN (see below).
It is also important to note that any non-residents wanting to go into a remote community must still must follow all the requirements of Land Councils and local communities, including checking if you need a Land Council Permit to go there.
This includes for work.
For a detailed conversation of what you need before you travel, please contact our Operations Team on 0413 443 544.
We look forward to having you on board very soon!
